The rules for the avatar remain the same.



I'll rewrite them better (shorter o-o) when it's not 3am.

The Da'vali 1.4 was created for VRChat. Porting to other games is fine as long as it follows the rules below.
They seem long but hopefully it means you can get your answer to what is allowed with it without contacting me <3

1 . Distribution:

You can share the Da'vali avatar and custom variants of it in dms to friends. You must include a copy of these rules with the avatar.

You can create public Da'vali avatars. This is encouraged. I love seeing what people create with this base.

You are not allowed to distribute the Da'vali avatar packages, assets or modified/custom variants in other games without permission except where outlined below:

- This is specifically referring to the avatars use in custom game projects intended for distribution or hosting, or games in which you can edit the files without getting them from this page. (Games like Neos/Resonite/Secondlife or personal projects intended for distribution or hosting elsewhere.)

You are not allowed to distribute the avatar or host it's files in the above listed games without permission. You can still upload it to these games for personal use.

- This does not refer to modding the Da'vali into other games like, for example, risk of rain, boneworks, palworld, lethal company, skyrim, kerbal space program, etc. You are allowed to make non-commercial mods that allow the Da'vali to be used in games like those listed in this paragraph.

Mods must be distributed on the appropriate mod platform(s) for the game.

You can include an optional tipjar with your game mod. You just can't require payment or monetize the mod.

You are required to provide the following credit for the avatar on the mod's page/in the description when you create a mod using the Da'vali:

2. Commercial use:

You are allowed to:

You can create and sell modifications, clothing, skins and other custom content for this avatar.

These must not contain the avatar itself.

- With the following exceptions:

- You may sell the substance files for your own custom Da'vali skins.

- Clothing is allowed to contain as much of the rig as is required to hold it's weight information.

You can do commissions with this avatar. Commissions need to be made to order.

The default textures can be used in paid texture commissions or products(Like skins) as long as they're sufficiently altered and not just the default textures.

You are not allowed to:

You are not allowed to charge for the Da'vali avatar itself in commissions.

You are not allowed to include or use the Da'vali in commercial projects that aren't listed in the Da'vali rules without permission.

Additional terms:

The Da'vali is not allowed to be used to train AI, to create AI 'Art' or to create NFTs.

You are not allowed to sell or distribute derivative avatars created with or using any part of the Da'vali avatars assets or likeness.

If you use the Da'vali to create a heavily modified custom avatar it must be for your own personal use only and kept private.

You must still provide credit for using the Da'vali base regardless of the level of alteration.

I do not allow assets, real or digital, to be promoted as though they are official merch of my avatars.

You can use the Da'vali in custom kitbashes as long as it is not distributed or sold and is for personal use only.

I reserve any rights that are not specifically granted here and the right to update these rules as required.

If there is a use of my work you wish to discuss that isn't already mentioned in these rules send me a message.

Any requests to sell the avatar itself or derivative avatars made from the Da'vali or in it's likeness will always be a no.

These rules may evolve over time due to new scenarios or technology. These rules trump the rules in the avatar text files. If you have an issue with the set rules do not use the avatar.
